About SHEA HICKS-WHITFIELD
Shea Alicia Whitfield has always loved beautiful things, with architecture being her first love at a young age. A lifelong Detroiter, Shea’s earliest memories are of her Grandfather, driving her around the city, showing her the various beautiful homes andbuildings that littered the streets of her hometown.
This love for Detroit simmered for years, through various careers, until her love of architecture materialized into a successful career with Westminster Abbey Homes, a residential builder providing newly constructed residential properties in the Corktown community of Detroit. Over the course of her first year, Shea moved up the company ranks, starting as a sales assistant and moving into the role of community sales manager.
Shea had finally found her niche!
During this time (2004-09), Shea obtained her builder’s, real estate, and real estate appraisal licenses, providing her the knowledge and skills she needed to be her very best for her customers… a trait she carries with her to this day. As a proud Detroit resident, Shea is committed to the revival of her city, viewing her role as a Realtor as being an active participant in the city’s turn-around. “The strength of the city is in its residents and their ability to realize their dreams. What better way to change a city than to change the outcomes for its residents? Being a homeowner is a game changer in people’s lives.”
Shea is married, and enjoys traveling, summer concerts and attending local sporting events with her husband, Terry; spending time with her 7-year old niece, Kamari Lei; and her puppy Sofia, learning better ways to improve her craft as a Realtor in Detroit. She is a dedicated servant of city and would like to partner with you to earn your piece of the American dream.
